Chinese New Year at Ash Croft February 2018
On Friday 16th February 2018, Ash Croft celebrated Chinese New Year.
Each class took part in a range of fun and exciting activities experiencing Chinese culture and using it to inspire their art work.
Busy Bees used stencils to draw shapes inside dogs using lots of bright colours.
Superstar Sharks used tissue paper to fill dog templates, they used their maths skills to write Chinese numbers and decorated lucky glitter playdough to take home.
Clever Cats used prior skills of collaging to fill their dogs.
Marvellous Monkeys replicated chinese patterns using cotton buds and paints.
Fantastic Foxes replicated intricate Chinese patterns using chalk.
Teriffic Tigers painted to Chinese music and drew their own dogs using their sketching skills.
