Consultation for Hackwood Primary Academy

Funding Agreement Consultation for Hackwood Primary Academy between The Secretary of State and The Harmony Trust.

The Harmony Trust is currently consulting on a proposal for the newly established Hackwood Farm free school, located in Mickleover in the north of Derby to enter into a funding agreement with the Secretary of State for it to open and join The Harmony Trust. This needs to be agreed before the school can open.

By law, The Harmony Trust must consult with and inform key stakeholders and the local community about its proposal, in line with Section 10 of the Academies Act 2010. This statutory consultation helps raise awareness of the Trust’s proposal and also seeks to obtain and build on feedback and suggestions it receives through the consultation process from other local schools, Derby City Council, members of the public and in particular, local residents.

Any comments, questions or feedback from the consultation should be forwarded to Jane Green at JGreen01@TheHarmonyTrust.org  The Harmony Trust will then report and present its findings and conclusions from the consultation to those that have responded, to the local community and to the Department for Education.
